Knoxville, TN. December 7, 2025 – The Tennessee Chapter of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture, proudly announces the success of the 2025 Ryan McDonald and Colt Jones Memorial Toy Drive, held in partnership with the McNabb Center. Thanks to the generosity of our UTIA family and fellow GSD members, we collected 185 toys and raised $625 through online donations. These contributions allowed us to fill three large shopping carts with an amazing assortment of toys for children of all ages.
The toy drive, held from November 10 to December 2, honors the lives of Ryan McDonald and Colt Jones, two teenagers tragically lost to bullying and school violence. Through this initiative, we strive to keep their memories alive and bring joy to children and families in need during the holiday season.
“What a success! We are deeply grateful for the donations and support during this holiday season,” said Bruno Pedreira, GSD Service Chair. “Together, we made a difference, and we hope to serve even more children during next year’s drive.” Carrera Romanini, GSD Member and Toy Drive Coordinator, provided inspiration by saying that “we did good!”
